The Miller Hybrids team is led by owner and research director Bob Miller who has a highly successful track record of developing successful commercial inbred lines and hybrids for two major seed companies. Bob pioneered work in selection for improved emergence, yield stability, and drought tolerance, and he focused on using selection environments and research protocols representative of typical farms. Our Seed Solution team includes Chad Gillam (SE Iowa) and Jon Meester (East Central Iowa) who both are active in our research effort and thus understand how to correctly position the right hybrids and traits on your farm. This research is also used to help other corn seed companies by being their independent corn product development consultant.
Miller Hybrids is all about you and your needs for your fields. We offer insect and herbicide trait options, with new, elite conventional and traited hybrid combinations. Miller focuses on hybrids that contain the Liberty Link® trait, providing a cost effective, non-selective herbicide without a technology fee. We believe in partnering with you with insect traps and crop scouting in your fields and in selling you only what traits are cost effective for your particular fields. |
