Planting ends and soon it's time to check out what's growing in addition to the corn and soybeans we all planted...

.This year 5 regional locations will help provide data for future hybrid seed selections. By choosing locations that vary in fertility, weather patterns, terrain, previous crop and farming practices, Miller Hybrids gets a excellent sample of real-world conditions that can be analysed for your benefit.
Take advantage of research done in your backyard by choosing Miller Hybrids this year and next! To learn more about how research is done at Miller Hybrids contact Bob Miller: 319-325-6158.
After some time out of the field from rain and cool weather, the Miller Team is back at it.
Planting test plots of specific breeds in specific arrangements to help make decisions for future hybrids is what it's all about. Data is collected during the summer on health, disease resistance, and a host of other factors and harvest yields are recorded at the end of the year. This data is analysed by Miller Hybrids owner and plant breeder Ph.D, Bob Miller. Ratings are assigned based on a series of trials throughout the state and over a number of years and eventually the best of the best are chosen, and are options in the Miller Hybrids Product Guide.
Every hybrid you find in the the Product Guide has been through advanced testing and been chosen to be kept around for specific reasons. Some hybrids to best on certain soils, others do best with a little extra fertilizer. To drill down and understand why a certain product might be a great choice for your farm operation you can look through the charts of data included in the Product Guide or contact a Miller Hybrids seed salesperson to help explain why it is that the Miller products are a great choice.

This year we had a great time at the Farm Progress Show! Our booth had lots of traffic and we met lots of interesting people looking to learn a bit about hybrid seed corn. A few of our dealers from all over the midwest came for a while and helped man the booth. Together we enjoyed getting to know new farmers, passing out materials & giveaways, and getting to know the neighboring vendors.
It was great time to network and help others learn about the recent progress in the industry.
We had a drawing this year and have some great news to share! Our drawing results are in! We had 13 lucky winners and want to congratulate them all!
Thank you all for participating, we'll likely have another drawing next year and hope to see you back at the Farm Progress Show then!
With much appreciation,
The Miller Team
